Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge #15 "Say What?"

Who is ready to "Say What?"  It is *Challenge #15 over at the Scrapbook Blessings Club.  The design team has created some amazing things with "Say What?".   I had a lot of fun with this challenge and cannot wait to see what all of you create.  I must admit that I pretty much followed the video tutorial exactly. Though there is one thing that I did do differently and it is my tip to you for this challenge:

When drawing the line that is used as the border around the sentiment I found it much easier (for me at least) to use a thicker marker.  I used a Slick Writer bold point.  Also, I had a piece a scrap paper under my card.  Instead of starting and stopping on the card when drawing my line I started off of the card.  I  drew my line starting on the scrap paper and ended off of the card on the scrap paper.  After several tries, of not doing it this way, I felt I got a cleaner line starting and ending off of the card.

The recipe for this card is:
  • Card measures 4 x 4 1/4 (folded)
  • All card stock is from my stash of supplies
  • Sentiment by Stampabilities
  • All other stamps by Jillibean Soup ("Eggcellent")
  • Stickles (used on tulips, grass & egg shell):  Cotton Candy, Stardust, Eucalyptus, Picket Fence
  • Ink:  Impress Emerald (grass), Memento Tuxedo Black (chick and tulips), Impress Pansy (sentiment) and Colorbox Chalk Ink Azurite (clouds).
  • Cloud stencil used (Clouds are there...just not showing up too well in the photo)
  • Punch by EK Success
I look forward to seeing what you create!  Be sure to head on over to the Scrapbook Blessings Club and join in on the challenge.  Have a magical day!

*Challenge #15 ends on March 29th.

Giving It Another Try

Hello Disney and Crafty friends!  Ever since I read about the"Triple Time Stamp Technique" challenge over at Scrapbook Blessings Club my mind has been whirling with ideas of what I could make with this technique.  I have already made one card for the challenge and you can see it here. Here are another two that I just finished today:

The stamps that I used are "Halloween Subway Art" (background stamp) and "Trick or Treat Pirate" (the cute little guy).  Both are from Stampabilities. The background was stamped using Memento Ink (Tangelo).  I used Journey Glaze on the sword and Stickles on his hat and buttons.  I colored the pirate with Prismacolor pencils. The card stock, ribbon and embellishments are from my stash.

My "favorite" Mouse stamp is by All Night Media.  The background stamp is by Hero Arts.  The background was stamped with Impress ink (Poppy Red).  I used Journey Glaze on the dots and sprinkled a little glitter on the glaze.  The card stock, brads, ribbon and twine are from my stash.

So there you have it!  I have been crafting up a storm this week. LOL  These are entered in Challenge #3 over at Scrapbook Blessings Club.  Head on over and check out their awesome blog!  Better yet get in on the fun and link up to one of the challenges.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a MAGICAL day!!
