I was thrilled to find this Little Golden Book. I collect vintage
Little Golden Books. It is rare that I find one that I don't have. I
just love the artwork in vintage children's books.
How many of you remember S & H Green Stamp books? When I saw these I
had to have them. I will use them in some sort of paper craft project
that I do. The same is true for the milk caps (At least that is
what I think that they are. I could be wrong though.) Don't you just love the magazines
from the early 1970's? I had to have those also!
The artwork in this little book just called my name. Not to mention that I love to throw a party!
My final find for the week was a bag of vintage letters, postcards & greeting cards. I must admit that this was my favorite find and deal of the week. When I inquired about the price I thought for sure it would be too high for my budget. Luckily it was only $3.00. I was SUPER excited and I have had a lot of fun reading the old letters and admiring the vintage artwork on the greeting cards. Each item was a surprise to me as I did not go through the bag until I got home. These are just a few of the many items in my $3.00 "surprise" bag. (I have to say it has provided me with way more than $3.00 worth of entertainment. LOL)
So that is all the fun stuff that I found. It has been awhile since I have found anything vintage that I was super excited about. The more things that I have the more particular I get regarding what I purchase. I have to say that I only spent $13.00 on all of the above. Not too bad, huh?
I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and that you have a great rest of the week! As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
