Punches Galore Challenge Continues!

Happy Saturday Disney and Crafty Friends!  Just a reminder that the "Punches Galore" challenge over at Scrapbook Blessings Club is going on.  You have until March 15 to link up your entry.  To see my original post and card head here.  I could not stop with just one card!   Using this wonderful image by Mel Jen's Designs and my punch I had so much fun.  Here are two more that I made:

I purposely left the sentiment off of the front of this card.  I am adding this to my card file.  When an occasion comes up that I need a card  I will stamp the appropriate sentiment then.  I may also add an embellishment or two at that time also. (Unfortunately...not the best picture of my card)

Please refer to my original post for the recipe of these cards.  Other than using an embossing folder on the one card all were done using the same techniques with a variation of design.

Head on over to the Scrapbook Blessings Club and join in on Punches Galore!  I'd love to see what you have created.  Have a magical day!

Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge #14 "Punches Galore"

Hello Crafty and Disney Friends!  I hope that you are enjoying your weekend.  Today starts a brand new challenge, *Punches Galore, over at Scrapbook Blessings Club.  The design team is sharing with you all kinds of things that you can do with your punches.   If you are like me I am sure that you have punches that you have not used in years if ever. Well dust them off and join in on the challenge.  All of us over at Scrapbook Blessings Club would love to see what you create.

Before I show you my "Punches Galore" card I must share a tip with you......When using glitter be sure to sprinkle it several inches above your paper.  This way it will be more evenly distributed and not end up all in one spot.  This works especially well when using glitter with Journey Glaze or Glossy Accents.

I made this card for an everyday occasion card and left the inside of it blank.  The recipe for this card is:

  • -Daisy Pitcher Digital image by Mel Jen's Designs
  • -Image colored using Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol
  • -Martha Stewart Scallop Three Dot Punch (punch around the page set)
  • -Journey Glaze by Fun Stampers Journey was used on the pitcher.  While the glaze was wet  I    sprinkled Extra Fine Glitter by Recollections on it.
  • -Stardust Stickles
  • -The Bakers Twine and cardstock are from my stash of supplies

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Be sure to hop around and see what the rest of the Design Team has created.  Don't forget to link up to the "Punch Out" challenge.  I am looking forward to seeing what you create.  Have a magical day!!

*(This challenge ends Saturday March 15, 2014 9pm EST)
