The Beast!

It is time to say good-bye to the beast....um...I mean my daughters bed.  I'll tell ya, it sounded like a great idea at the time.  The idea:  get rid of the twin bed and get a full size.  Not just any full size but the kind with amazing storage underneath it and a bookcase headboard. Guaranteed to make more space in a small room with all of the storage drawers (so I thought).  Guaranteed to keep the child more organized (so I thought).  WRONG thoughts....oh such wrong thoughts!!! To think I so badly wanted this bed and all it came with.  Funny, today I want it out of my house as badly as I had wanted the delivery truck to arrive with it.  

WHY you ask is it now known as the beast?  Because that is the only word I can think of when I look at it. This bed did nothing that I thought that it would do. Everything and I mean everything fell underneath it (UGH!)  The storage was awful.....the drawers too small for really anything.  The bookcase headboard....basically just a lint/dust trap. So there you have it......it just did not work for me.  Out it goes and tomorrow a brand new frame, box springs and mattress will arrive in its place.  No fancy headboard, no storage drawers, no false hope for organization for the child, just a plain old fashioned bed which I am super excited to see arrive!  Don't let me fool you though.....I still have hope for the organization I'm just not telling anyone!
