Fun On Friday!

Happy weekend everyone!  I hope that you are all enjoying your Saturday!  My weekend got off to a fantastic start.  I spent most of yesterday with local crafters putting together Christmas card kits for our Troops.  We put together approximately 200 Christmas card kits.  This was the first in a series of several card kitting sessions.  The goal is to do over 1000 cards this year.  You can read more about this over at Women With Scissors.

After we were done with the kits some of us decided to stay and do a make & take.  Here is what we made:

Christmas Wall Hanging

Isn't it adorable?  The wall hanging was designed and taught by Kelly who is one of the Women With Scissors gals.  It was so much fun to make. I used Stickles, Enamel Accents and Diamond Glaze.  I also used A LOT of ribbon.  The ribbon was not part of the make & take.  I added the ribbon to it when I got home.  I cannot wait until Christmas so that I can hang it up.

The rest of my late afternoon and early evening was spent at three of my favorite stores.....Michaels, Joanne Fabrics and Target.  A day spent with friends, helping support our troops, a make & take and then shopping. WOW!  My day could not have been any better!
