So Many Minnies!

Merry Monday!  As I said in my previous post there has been a lot of crafting going on at my house this month.  My Cricut and I have been very busy working on these:

I am participating in a swap.  The requirements were to cut 15 of your "favorite thing" at three to four inches, embellish it and make sure it had a couple of layers. (I am hoping that I did it correctly.  This is my first swap of this kind.)  I had a very difficult time deciding what to make.  Since I am the "Disney Girl" I decided to make the original Disney Girl, Miss Minnie Mouse.  I used the cartridge Mickey and Friends and cut her at four inches. I used Enamel Accents on her eyes.  I was very happy with how Miss Minnie turned out.  I can't wait to see what I get back in the swap. 

I am not the only one crafting away this month.  While my Cricut was chirping away my daughter was busy using a hot glue gun and ribbon.  This is what she made:

 

They are hair barrettes!  She saw a video on You Tube and away she went creating. This is not the first time she has taught herself to make something by watching a video.  I am so proud of her and the fact that she is able to do these things by just watching a video (no help from me).  I think that they turned out great.
