November Card Kit

Hello Disney and Crafty Friends!  Once again I am late to the party so to speak!  On November 7th Scrapbook Blessings Club teamed up with Scrapping For Less and released their November Card Kit.  This is an awesome kit with a super cute stamp!  Be sure to head on over here to see all that is included in the kit.  Here is what I created:

I love many things about these kits but my favorite thing is that you can create a fast card.  No searching for supplies or trying to match up paper colors (all of which take time).  All that has been done for you in this kit.  You can definitely create several cards from one kit.  Such a great thing and especially with the holidays approaching and free time is even more limited.

Here I am with my hubby, family & friends on California Adventure's Grizzly River Run.

 

My stepbrother & I after several rides on the Grizzly River Run.  We were soaked!

I picked these two shots because they remind me of one of my FAVORITE November trips to Disneyland & California Adventure.  We rode this ride so many times in a row.  The wetter we got the harder we laughed! It was SO MUCH FUN!!!  If you have yet to ride this awesome water attraction be sure to ride it the next time you are at California Adventure.  Be prepared to have a blast (and get wet)!  I hope that you all are having a wonderful Wednesday!! Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone! How many of you out there are wearing a costume to work today??  What are you dressing up as?  I will not be in a costume but I will wear a Halloween themed shirt. (See, I have some Halloween spirit) The evening will be spent with family & friends.  It is our Halloween tradition that we have sloppy joes for dinner and then it is out the door to go trick or treating.  I have family members that stay behind at the house to answer the door for the trick or treaters that come knocking on my door.  It is always a fun evening.  This year there will be 22 of us getting together.  The kids are SUPER excited!!

Wordless Wednesday

Magical Memories!  Here are mine:

Turning 40 at the Happiest Place On Earth with over 40 of my friends and family. The BEST birthday ever!  This was taken at The Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country (or as we call it "Bear Country").

Even in the pouring rain we go to Disneyland!  I once again knew that I married the right guy when he went to Disneyland with me in the down pour!

My brother & I with our kids.  As we entered the Main Gate the Mad Hatter directed us to participate in a Stroller Race.  It was so fun! See the band behind us?  What a way to kick off our day in the park.

I had A LOT of trouble deciding what pictures to use this week.  When I thought of September I thought of back to school (even though my daughter went back in early August).  Then my thought moved on to Fall and Fall photos it is!  I just love how Disneyland decorates the park.  Whether it be Fall or any other time of the year Disney just out does itself every time.

The photo in the middle is one of my all-time favorite pictures.  The two cuties are cousins. They are older now and I have to beg them to smile together for a picture.  They will stand together but usually one of them is making a face at the camera.  LOL

Disney Friends

Disney Friends!

That being said I dedicate this post to all the friends and family who have "done" Disneyland with me the way that I like to experience Disneyland.  You all know who you are.  I also dedicate it to all the Disneyland Characters who have helped make EVERY trip magical! 

Pluto was very happy to see my mother sometime in the 1980's.

Donald was quite shy in the 1980's (or maybe it was the early 90's).

The tradition started in approximately 2003.  Two friends who share a love for Disney packed up the kids and headed to Disneyland for a weekend in the park.  We call ourselves "The Disney Chicks".  The tradition continues and the husbands are still glad to be left at home while the "Chicks" are at The Happiest Place On Earth!

I just had to share one of my all time favorite Disney photos with you.  I love this picture for so many reasons!  It is as if she and Geppetto are all alone at the Park.  I wonder what my sweet girl was telling him.
