Board Game Homework

Happy Saturday everyone!!  I wanted to share with you a homework assignment that my daughter did this week.  She had to make a board game.  It was group project (three children per group). I thought that it was a very fun project and a clever way to teach children vocabulary words.  She really enjoyed the assignment.

The game is already to be played!
A closer look at the game pieces.

Isn't this a great idea?  Not only did she use her imagination (with the help of her group) designing the game, she got to do an art project and learn vocabulary words!  The project also required that written directions on how to play the game be made.  My daughter and I had a lot of fun testing out how well her group's game played. I hope they receive an A on it.  They deserve it!

I hope that you all have a fantastic rest of your weekend!  I am off to see a Disney On Ice show tomorrow.  I cannot wait!  For starters, we all know that I love Disney.  What you may not know is that I love an ice show!!  I spent the first thirteen years of my life living in upstate New York. Going ice skating & attending hockey games were the thing to do.  Just the "smell" of the ice transports me back in time to being a kid in upstate New York.  Good memories!!!!  Thanks for stopping by Disney Girl!
