Five Things I Couldn't Craft Without!

Hello Disney and Crafty Friends! A happy Friday to you!  Today I am kicking my weekend off in a hopping way!  A few of us thought that it would be fun to do a hop showing you what crafting items we can't craft without.  Here is the hop lineup:

Dedra at dedras-crafts-for-a-cure
Ivy at Craft Addict Studio
Eileen at Paper Canvas Creations
Debra at DAV Designs
Here is where you are at:  Brenda at Disney Girl
Kim at Kim B Papercrafts

If you get lost along the way just head back here and start hopping again.  All of us would love for you to leave a comment on what items you can't craft without.  For those leaving comments on my blog I will draw a random blog candy winner on Monday, August 11, 2014.  The name that I draw will have until 7:00 pm EST Wednesday August 13, 2014 to contact me with their name and address. If I do not hear from the winner by Wednesday I will draw another name.  Okay, now on to my Five Things That I Couldn't Craft Without!

First Up.......hands down it is my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol!  I love my pencils and always have.  Gamsol is a fairly new addition to my crafting must haves.  I have been using it for about a year.

Second - My Cricut!  I LOVE my Cricut!  I have yet to branch out to the Explore.  For now I am very happy with what I have and feel no need to upgrade.

Third - I have some "go-to" Cricut cartridges.  Whenever I am at a loss for an image or tag I head to these cartridges. They are the CTMH cartridge, Art Philosophy and Disney Mickey Font.  Both are my absolute favorites!  If you have never played with the CTMH cartridges you are missing out.  They are jam packed with tons of good stuff!!  Being I am the "Disney Girl" says it all why the Mickey Font is a favorite of mine.

Fourth - Adhesive!!! Gotta have it!! I LOVE Score-Pal tape for a strong hold!

Fifth - My tired, worn out, blue foam stamping mat.  I purchased this YEARS ago when I first started stamping.  I would be lost without it.  I use it all the time!

Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth (I couldn't limit myself to top 5) - Journey Glaze.....Love this stuff!! Be sure to check my sidebar for all of the projects that I have used it on.  You can take a look at the product here. Also LOVE Stickles and any BLING!  Every project needs some glitz to it!!!

I do have a ninth item and it is my label maker.  Without it I would not be able to organize all of my supplies!!! LOL  I do love to organize.

So there you have it! I had a bit of trouble narrowing it down.  As a brand new CTMH consultant I am sure in a few months I will have different "go-to" items.  At the moment I am getting ready to play with some of the items that I recently ordered from the new Idea Book.  One of these items being the CTMH ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.  To check them out head on over here.  I cannot wait to give these a try!! Will they bump my Prismacolor Pencils off my Top Five list??? LOL  I will let you know.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hopping with us!! I hope that you have a magical day doing something that you love doing!

Feel free to contact me with any questions that you have regarding Close To My Heart or any of the above mentioned products.

  3. I have never used markers until I bought the Shinhan from CTMH. I did buy the CTMH markers but most of them were dried up when I bought them. I have only used the Shinhan a few times but I would like to get better at them. I actually cheated the other day and saw Hobby Lobby had the Spectrum Noir (24 for $49.99) with the 40% off coupon, I got them for $30. Now I have a few more in between shades on my list to play with and they seem to work well with the ShinHan.

  4. Well, first off my 3M adhesive. It's my favorite and nothing comes off with that stuff! Then comes glue dots and pop dots. Burlap and then my American Crafts solid twine. I haven't been using my cricut like I used to so not on my top anymore.

  5. first, i would have to say my big kick and spellbinders dies. they make all my sentiments pop!. i know thats 2 but one without the other not so good. my next choice would be my 3m foam tape.I have the humungous roll. from there it gets a little harder to choose. my printer would be my next most used item for printing all my digis. then embellishments, the shiny ones(glitter, stickles, bling, etc)
