What A Find!

Somebody has a brand new home!

That somebody is this sweet little Mouseketeer and the new home for her is MINE!  This morning, while I should of been at home starting my home improvement project (new floors) I was out shopping estate sales with my step-brother and mom.  Thanks to the two of them being the early risers that they are I scored this doll! (Thank you again Joseph!)  You see while I was still getting ready (okay rolling out of bed) the two of them arrived at the sale and held a pile of goodies for me.  The above doll was a given....she was meant to be mine.  Now the other things were the unknown.  You see they were large ziplock bags full of miscellaneous.  All that I knew was that they contained miscellaneous "DISNEY".  Here is some of what was in them:

I have to tell you that to some, this looks like a pile of nothing.  To me, it is a pile of treasure!  I see vintage Disneyland bags that can be used to paper craft, two watches that I do not have (shocker), pins (some old, some new), two cups (one from the 25 anniversary at the Park), a miniature pewter train (complete with Disney characters riding it), snow globes, figurines, bobble heads, etc. Some of the things I already have....I will easily sell or donate those.  Some of the things I don't want....and some I did not even take a picture of.  All I can tell you is the enjoyment that I had going through the two zip lock bags was worth the price of it all!! It is was so much fun to find what I thought was just a broken train track at the bottom of a bag was really a complete little train!  Finding the pins was the added bonus to the find!

I hope today found you doing something that you enjoyed!  Have a magical evening!

  1. Exciting! I immediately saw the pins and thought, "you lucky girl!" The train is a nice plus. I too am a pushover for a "grab bag." Sounds like you had some great finds!

I hope some day to own an Annette Funicello bear. Though now that she has passed I'm sure I'll have to pay hefty for one. Huggles!
