Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Happy Cyber Monday!! I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Mine was perfect!! Great food with my great family!  I am one lucky girl.  Wednesday night was spent baking pies.  My daughter & I always make a delicious pumpkin pie that has a graham cracker crust. My black Friday shopping started on Thanksgiving night at Target (This is the first year that my daughter went with me.)  Last year I braved Wal-Mart.  This year I decided to give Target a try (it is my favorite store after all).  I have to say that Target did an amazing job of controlling the crowd.  While waiting in line I was given a map and a snack! The employees asked if I had any questions and if they could help me with anything.  I am happy to report that I got what I wanted and was home in bed by 10:30 p.m. (Sale started at 9:00 p.m.)

On Black Friday I started out meeting everyone for a nice breakfast & then it was off to the Disney Store!  My best buys of the day were found here!

I definitely had a great shopping night & day!  The best part of it all was that I was with my family & friend!  Black Friday shopping is a tradition that we have done together for years.  None of us care for how the stores are open after Thanksgiving dinner and continue to be open all night long.  We like the "old" days when the stores opened at 5 or 6 am on Friday.  Regardless, we made our own schedule and still got great buys & had oodles of fun!!
